These Beta & Early Access Terms (“Beta Terms”) apply to merchants and integrators participating in the limited Veyra beta or any other early-access program designated by Veyraas “beta,” “preview,” “experimental,” “alpha,” or similar. They supplement the Terms of Service, the Merchant Services Agreement, the Payment Processing Terms, and the Risk, Holds & Reserve Policy. In the event of any conflict between these Beta Terms and another document for beta features, these Beta Terms control.
1. Beta nature; no production warranties
Beta features are made available for evaluation, testing, and feedback. They are provided “as is” and “as available,” without any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, throughput, or fitness for production use. Beta features may change, regress, be disabled, be re-priced, be combined with other features, or be withdrawn at any time without notice. We do not commit to any service level for beta features.
2. Eligibility; operator-controlled access
Access to beta features is gated by Veyra and granted at our sole discretion. Access may be granted to a single merchant, a small cohort, or specific employee or integrator users. Access may be revoked at any time, including immediately and without notice. Beta access is not transferable. You will not share beta access credentials or materials outside the authorized scope.
3. Use limited to test mode unless explicitly approved
Unless Veyra expressly approves beta production use in writing, beta features may be used in test mode only. Production use of a beta feature without written approval is a breach of these Beta Terms and may result in account suspension, transaction reversal, or termination. Even where production use is approved, beta features do not carry the same uptime, monitoring, and support commitments as general-availability features.
4. Feedback license
You grant Veyra a non-exclusive, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, fully sublicensable license to use, modify, and incorporate into any product or service any feedback, suggestion, idea, bug report, or improvement you provide regarding any beta feature. You waive any rights to attribution or compensation in connection with such feedback. You will not include in your feedback any confidential, regulated, or third-party-rights-restricted information.
5. Confidentiality of beta materials
Information about beta features, including documentation, architecture, roadmap positioning, performance characteristics, defect lists, and access credentials, is confidential. You will not publicly disclose beta materials, write blog posts about beta features, post screenshots of beta surfaces, or comment publicly on beta functionality without Veyra's prior written approval.
6. Limited support
Support for beta features is best-effort. Critical incident response continues to follow our general Support Policy, but beta-specific issues may be triaged, deferred, or addressed asynchronously. Operator and merchant escalations should flag “beta” in the subject so they can be routed appropriately.
7. Data review and debugging
Beta features may be more closely monitored than general-availability features. Transaction metadata, API request shape, and integration behavior may be reviewed by Veyra engineering and risk teams for debugging, capacity planning, and risk analysis. We do not access raw card data; review is limited to non-PAN, non-CVC, and non-3DS-secret data.
8. Disable, modify, or remove
Veyra may disable, modify, restrict, or remove any beta feature for any reason at any time. This includes — but is not limited to — disabling at the merchant level, removing the feature entirely, requiring re-acceptance of these Beta Terms after material changes, or relocating the feature behind a paywall on general availability.
9. No damages for beta failures
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Veyra will not be liable to you for any damages — direct, indirect, special, consequential, or otherwise — arising out of or related to your use of any beta feature. This is a non-negotiable condition of access to the beta program. Cardholder-rights chargebacks, network-issued fines, and other pass-through obligations remain your responsibility as set forth in the Merchant Services Agreement.
10. Promotion to general availability or removal
A beta feature may, at our sole discretion, be promoted to general availability, re-bundled with another product, re-priced, restricted to specific tiers, or removed entirely. Continued use after a general-availability transition is governed by the then-current terms applicable to the generally available feature, including any new fees.
11. Acceptance
Accessing or using any beta feature constitutes acceptance of these Beta Terms by both you and the merchant on whose behalf you act.
